FDI in brief
FDI World Dental Federation serves as the principal representative body for more than one million dentists worldwide, developing health policy and continuing education programmes, speaking as a unified voice for dentistry in international advocacy and supporting member associations in global oral health promotion activities.
Every year, FDI organise various continuing education programme, including the FDI annual World Dental Congress (WDC). WDC serves as a cornerstone to strengthen ties and foster collaboration within the global oral health community. As someone who has seen the evolution of our field over many decades, it is a distinct honour to bring our flagship event to Shanghai, a city renowned for its scientific innovation and global influence.
Held under the theme ‘Shaping the future of oral health’, WDC 2025 promises to be an extraordinary gathering, bringing together key leaders within the oral health profession and industry from around the globe.
