The dental care industry came together with enthusiasm as Swedental and the Swedish Dental Congress reunited at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg. This year’s spotlight was on future challenges and groundbreaking innovations.
– We experienced incredible interest, said exhibitor Johan Björkquist of Atium AB, who showcased a new technology designed to separate mercury from water.
On 13-15 November, Swedental, the largest meeting point for the Nordic dental care community, celebrated its 60th anniversary in conjunction with the Swedish Dental Congress.
– It feels fantastic that, just like two years ago, we were able to hold a full-scale event with a congress, exhibition, networking, and mingling, says Anders Persson, Business Manager for Swedental.
– It was clear that participants, both exhibitors and visitors, appreciated it. The festive atmosphere was palpable, and smiles were everywhere.
This year’s event attracted nearly 9,000 visits and featured 170 exhibitors – 20 more than the last Gothenburg fair in 2022.
– Our exhibitors went above and beyond, investing in their booths and showcasing cutting-edge products, Anders noted.
– Innovation was a hallmark of this year’s event, highlighted by our special Innovation Arena, which featured startups and a highly praised stage program.
The Swedish Dental Congress adopted the theme “Cutting edge odontology,” perfectly aligning with the fair’s focus.
“The connection between the scientific findings presented at the congress and the forward-looking solutions showcased at the fair is crucial,” Anders explained. “Attendees moving seamlessly between lectures and exhibition stands gained invaluable insights, creating a truly enriching experience.”
The next Swedental will take place in Stockholm from November 12-14, 2025, while the following Gothenburg event is slated for November 11-13, 2026.
